How DJI Dock and Drone Harmony Enable Daily Quality Control
Bloomville is a large construction project in Switzerland, developed by HRS. The project combines modern residential architecture with a strong focus on digital construction workflows.
Because part of the development consists of privately owned apartments, individual interior design changes are frequent. This increases the need for precise, up-to-date site documentation and reliable quality control.
The Challenge: Accuracy, Speed, and Documentation
Traditional construction monitoring relies heavily on manual site inspections, measurements, and photo documentation. These methods are:
Time-consuming
Resource-intensive
Prone to delays between data capture and evaluation
In fast-moving construction phases, errors often become apparent only after corrections have become expensive — for example, after concrete has been poured.
The Solution: DJI Dock + Drone Harmony
To address these challenges, the Bloomville project uses DJI Dock combined with Drone Harmony and the TEDAMOS platform by Terradata.
The DJI Dock enables fully automated daily drone flights across the entire construction site. Drone Harmony manages flight planning, execution, and cloud-based processing.
Each mission:
Covers the full site autonomously
Takes approximately 12 minutes
Captures 800+ high-resolution images
This creates a consistent, complete dataset every day.

Quality Control Before It Gets Expensive
Daily automated flights allow teams to:
Verify the positional accuracy of construction elements
Detect deviations early
Make corrections before costly construction steps
This proactive approach significantly reduces rework and improves overall construction quality. At the same time, the system creates a complete, gapless record of the construction site history.

Compliance and Operational Safety
Operating an automated drone system required a SORA operational authorization.
While complex, the process helped establish clear safety procedures, roles, and response plans. As a result, daily drone operations are:
Safe
Compliant
Clearly structured
All involved pilots and stakeholders know exactly what to do — even in exceptional scenarios.
From Images to Actionable 3D Data
After each flight, Drone Harmony Cloud automatically triggers data processing.
Using advanced photogrammetry algorithms on TEDAMOS high-performance servers, the captured images are transformed into:
Digital elevation models
Orthophotos
Point clouds
Textured 3D surfaces
Thanks to integrated RTK positioning, the resulting models achieve centimeter-level accuracy — even without ground control points.

From Tool to Asset Management Component
The final 3D models are delivered directly to the project manager, enabling:
Faster decision-making
Transparent communication
Increased trust among all stakeholders
At Bloomville, drones are no longer just tools — They are an integral part of the digital asset management workflow.
Conclusion
By combining DJI Dock, Drone Harmony, and TEDAMOS, this project demonstrates how automated drone operations can transform construction monitoring:
Higher quality assurance
Significant time savings
Complete and reliable documentation
Greater confidence for developers and investors

Drone Harmony enables construction teams to monitor smarter.
