Updated: May 28, 2025

With our most recent May release, we’re improving the granularity of control and visibility into the status of operations at each waypoint on the Dock. If you’ve added any extra controls on a waypoint, like No-RTH (No Return to Home), Hover, Start/Stop Video, or Zoom, you’ll be able to hover over the white waypoint info dot and see the full configuration, including the positioning along the video timeline. Expect to see more improvements to the visualization of information on waypoints.

For greater safety and situational awareness, you can now cancel  RTH  and you can see the alternate landing point in both 2D and 3D. With the new ability to pre-define exposure settings for a mission, you can now fully optimize image capture for maximum quality. Need to adjust exposure compensation to enable photogrammetry of bright scenes with limited features? Now you can.

New Features

  • DOCK-API: Ability to switch between main camera views in flight (Wide, Zoom, Thermal).

  • DOCK-API: Start a mission via API.

  • Camera exposure settings can now be set in mission launch parameters for both immediate takeoff and planned missions.

  • Waypoint actions UI appears when hovering over a waypoint action icon.

  • The “Cancel RTH” option was added during landing.

  • Added Pause option at waypoints (duration of hovering on pause is now configurable)

  • Emergency (alternate) landing point displayed on the map and in 3D with an orange “H” icon. Emergency landing position could be set up during the Dock setup.

Bug Fixes

  •  Zoom slider now updates correctly when the custom zoom level is set on waypoints.

  •  Fixed an issue with image download.

  • Fixed several bugs that led to improved overall behavior when multiple tabs or multiple users view the same dock, this means more reliable manual flight control and reduced conflicts between operators.

*Known issue: On US and Asia servers map overlays import currently does not work.

Improvements

•  Improved overall behavior when multiple tabs or multiple users view the same dock, this means more reliable manual flight control and reduced conflicts between operators.

•  Improved resume behavior: takeoff is allowed even if upload from the dock to the cloud is still pending.  •  “Fly to here” flight speed now respects the maximum speed setting, removed option to set speed for “Fly to here”  • Improved UI response for large missions (up to 10k waypoints) - automatic clustering doesn't happen as often and UI speed will be maintained.
