At Drone Harmony, we believe in giving inspection teams the freedom to choose the tools that work best for them. That’s why we’re proud to announce that our Asset Inspector platform now supports image ingestion from a wide variety of drones – not just DJI.

From the start, Asset Inspector has helped utilities and inspection teams streamline their entire workflow, from image capture to insight. Now, with support for agnostic data sources, the platform takes a step further, delivering unmatched flexibility, scalability, and efficiency.

Support for NDAA-Compliant Drones

In response to growing demand in key markets, Asset Inspector now supports data captured by NDAA-compliant drones, including Skydio, Parrot, and Freefly as well as images from Phase One cameras. This allows customers with strict hardware policies to maintain full access to Drone Harmony's automated data workflows and inspection intelligence.

Whether you're flying with DJI, Skydio, or another system entirely, Asset Inspector can now bring all your data into one structured pipeline — automatically matched, clustered, and assigned to the right assets.

How It Works

A new image import flow in the Drone Harmony App enables users to:

  • Ingest images from supported devices

  • Automatically cluster photos by location and assign them to assets

  • Upload the data to the Asset Inspector platform for immediate review

Images that can't be matched are always intelligently clustered. Then the pilot can either create new assets based on the image clusters or collect the images in an "unassigned" folder for manual review or later linking to new assets. This ensures that no data gets lost or left behind.

Mobile-First Simplicity

The App works on most Android devices and is optimized for tablets, offering field teams an intuitive way to collect and organize data on the go. From there, syncing to the Asset Inspector platform is seamless — no manual sorting, renaming, or restructuring required.

For users working with large volumes of images or higher-end cameras like Phase One, the workflow supports flexible import via SD card and quick transfers via the mobile app. Even with thousands of images, matching and processing remain fast and reliable.

The Big Picture: Scalable, Flexible Inspection Workflows

By supporting a broad range of drones and data inputs, Asset Inspector is no longer just a platform for DJI users. It's a coordination and inspection tool for any team looking to scale data collection and centralize decision-making — no matter what they fly.

Whether you're working in regulated environments, prioritizing NDAA-compliance, or simply want more flexibility in the field, Drone Harmony's Asset Inspector has you covered.

Stay tuned as we continue to roll out more compatibility, easier access, and deeper insights – powered by the tools you choose.
